This 2007 Toyota Corolla was towed in by a local used car dealership. The vehicle had an intermittent no-start condition. The car would start 50 times just fine, then not start 10 times; start 150 times in a row, then not start. Each of the dealership technicians took a look at it and could not fix the Toyota. The dealership took it to the local new car dealership. They could not solve the problem, either – and charged for their techs to look at it!
Finally, the Toyota was brought to us – Erie, PA’s automotive electrical experts. The dealerships thought the problem was a mechanical issue. It was not!
We found a frayed wire in a large wiring harness that was making intermittent contact. We exposed the wiring harness and repaired the broken wire. The vehicle now starts every time.
