Does your new Jeep need power locks? It seems that we are adding power locks to Jeeps on a daily basis.
A Chautauqua, NY, resident named Dave contacted ENORMIS about installing power door locks, keyless entry and a remote start system to a 2017 Jeep Patriot he had just purchased. This client had seen our recent custom power door lock installations on a few Jeep Wranglers and was impressed with our work.
Dave said, “I was hoping for a quote to have power door locks and the two-way remote car starter installed on my Patriot, similar to what you showed in the Jeep Wrangler install. I currently have no key fob – just a bare key with no buttons. I have four doors plus the back hatch, though, so I’m not sure how that would change things or what my options are. I also like the idea of having the extra switch added to the inside of the door. Please let me know. Thank you!”
Dave purchased the base model vehicle on a screaming deal, but had grown tired of always using the key to open the doors, especially since he has children. ENORMIS installed four door lock actuators to the front and rear doors; a power tailgate actuator; and with our 3,000-foot–range two-way remote start with lock, unlock, hatch and remote start buttons. We also installed a switch on the driver door so Dave could easily lock and unlock the doors.
If you would like to add power locks, a remote start, heated seats, a navigation system or anything else to your vehicle, just contact the electrical experts at ENORMIS in Harborcreek, PA.
