Susan, an East Erie resident and first-time ENORMIS Mobile Specialties customer, wanted a remote start for her 2017 Jeep Wrangler Willys Wheeler. Susan’s husband Richard just got a new car and a remote start came with the vehicle; now it was Susan’s turn. Susan and Richard stopped by the store and spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, who showed and demonstrated all of their options for them.
Susan and Richard decided on a factory start v5 with our Ataqan two-way long-range remote start with .6 mile range! This optional long-range remote has two-way confirmation that will tell Susan if her doors are locked or unlocked, and when the vehicle remote starts. Susan plans on using the remote start at work, so she needed longer range than when at home.
Susan and Richard dropped the vehicle off in the morning and left her keys in our dropbox. Our MECP-certified technician Art Dougan performed the installation using a Jeep vehicle-specific wiring harness. This custom harness makes for a clean and seamless installation. Art had the vehicle completed by lunchtime so Susan could pick it up when she got out of work at 1 p.m.
When Susan picked up the vehicle, Doug demonstrated the remote start to Susan. She was most happy with the stop-and-go mode. That allows Susan to leave the Jeep running without the key in it when she takes care of an errand.
If you would like a high-quality and professionally installed remote start, ENORMIS Mobile Specialties can help. Just contact us. The video below is an example of how this system operates.
