A new car dealership from Waterford, PA, needed heated seats in a 2017 Ram 1500 pickup truck. This dealership has very high standards, and we were honored to get the job.
Enormis Mobile Specialties removed the cloth seats from the truck and installed heating pads on the bottom seat cushions and the rear seat cushions. Not only does it get cold in northwestern Pennsylvania, but it seems many people suffer from lower back pain. A warm seat can be quite therapeutic.
Once the seats were re-installed in the truck, we had to find a location for the seat switches. These switches have a high and low position and will light up, indicating whether the seats are on or not.
It is not unusual to find aftermarket heated seat switches on the sides of the seats. We try to avoid that. Enormis took the extra time and installed the switches in the dash. If the driver or passenger needs to turn on a seat, they will find a switch located near them.
