Zach from West Springfield, PA, is a repeat client of ENORMIS. In 2014, we had installed a remote start in his 2014 Optima. He has since traded in that vehicle for a 2018 push-to-start KIA Optima, so the new KIA gets a new remote start. Zach made a call to our veteran remote start specialist Tony Horton to discuss a new remote start. After going over some options, Zach settled on our mini two-way v5 system with a 3/10 mile range. Chris Brown, one of our MECP-certified technicians, got to work on the installation. Zach’s previous remote start was a one-way remote start that only illuminated the parking lights. He decided it was time for a two-way remote start.
2018 Kia Optima Gets 2-Way Remote Start to Warm Up Ahead of Time
This mini two-way v5 remote start will give Zach confirmation on the remote itself when the vehicle starts. He loved the idea of not having to look outside to know his vehicle is running. Ever walk inside a building and wonder, “Did I lock my doors?” The mini two-way also controls the power locks from 3/10 mile away and will give confirmation. By the way, the KIA remote still works as normal. None of that has changed.
The ability to know if his doors are locked or if his vehicle is outside running is much nicer than his last remote start. Zach was very pleased with the results.
