About three years ago, James from Lake City, PA, surprised his wife Kim with an ENORMIS remote start for her Nissan Altima for Christmas. James and Kim loved the remote start so much that James’s Christmas present to himself was going to be an ENORMIS remote start.
James just bought his first new vehicle and it happens to be a 2018 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. He spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, about the remote start. Doug looked in the ENORMIS records to see what remote start Kim had received, and saw that Kim got our medium range two-way remote start for her Altima: the ENORMIS mini two-way v5. Doug recommended the same remote start for James.
The remotes might have changed, but the operation was essentially the same: Both had around 4/10 mile range and simple one-button operation. The remote start systems also both have two-way confirmation and convenient small remotes. James will know his Outlander is outside getting warm because his remote will notify him.
James called at the last minute before the Christmas holiday — he wanted to get in before Christmas since he had no more vacation time. Doug arranged for the vehicle to be dropped off before ENORMIS opened and MECP-certified technician Ken Whiteman was kind enough to come in a little earlier than usual on a Saturday morning to complete the installation. Before noon, the Mitsubishi was complete and delivered back to James.
