Kevin, a Warren resident and repeat ENORMIS Mobile Specialties client, was looking to add a long-range remote start to his wife’s 2018 Subaru Crosstrek with push-button start. Kevin already thought that the Subaru key fob was too large and did not want to add another remote to the keychain. He spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, who recommended the Factory Start with Smartphone app.
Kevin liked the idea of being able to start the Subaru with his factory key fob in short-distance situations and get long range from his or his wife’s smartphone. Better yet, at only $129.99 for a three-year service plan, that is less than $4 a month to start the vehicle and lock/unlock the doors from their phones.
Doug scheduled the vehicle for a morning drop-off appointment, and we installed the remote start while Kevin and his wife ran errands. Kevin downloaded the Drone Mobile App onto their phones. When they returned to pick the vehicle up, Doug assisted in registering the vehicle. Kevin was very impressed with the Drone Mobile’s LTE data connection and the lightning-quick response from the app.
