Dealership Needs Factory Option Added
A Warren, PA. dealership and repeat ENORMIS Mobile Specialties client had just sold a 2019 Chevrolet Spark LS base model. Their end customer purchased the Spark as a parts delivery vehicle and was not excited about having to stick a key into the rear hatch to access packages on a daily basis. Dave at the Chevy dealership called ENORMIS’s integration specialist Doug Reichert. Dave asked if a power release handle, seen on other Spark models, could be added to this base-model Spark. Doug said, “I don’t know, but I’ll find out.” He did some research and found that that the rear hatch release could be added to the base-model Spark.
ENORMIS Specializes in Solving Problems
Doug ordered the necessary parts and scheduled a time for Dave to have the vehicle brought up from over an hour away. The dealership drivers waited for the ENORMIS installation. MECP-certified technician Ken Whiteman installed the factory hatch release pad, created a custom wiring harness for the release pad, and installed the license plate assembly trim bezel. Now the drivers can simply place the vehicle in park, get out and press the hatch release pad for easy access. No more having to use the key to open the hatch all day long! The end customer now has the factory option desired and the dealership problem was solved!
