Skip, a Wattsburg, PA, resident, was looking for a nice gift for his wife for the holiday. That’s because, his wife had purchased a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan recently. In light of her new purchase, she was dropping hints that she wanted a remote start for the Tiguan. Skip has been a customer of ours since 2007 and he stopped by our shop in Harborcreek. So, he asked our integration specialist Doug Reichert about a 2019 Volkswagen Tiguan Remote Start.
2019 Volkswagen Tiguan Remote Start is Possible
Skip wanted to know if it was even possible to install a remote start in his wife’s Tiguan. He asked that because, it’s a push-to-start Volkswagen. Doug assured Skip that, a high quality remote start could be installed. Also, that it would be installed seamlessly. Furthermore, we would retain features such as the Volkswagen proximity unlock/lock from the door handles and secure takeover.
So, while Skip was at the store, Doug showed him the remote start remote control options. Skip settled on our long-range Ataqan two-way remote start. After all, the Volkswagen key fob was rather large, and the Ataqan remote is nice and small, but powerful. In fact this little guy features a 1-button design capable of sending up to 4 commands: lock, unlock, remote start and shutdown.
Remote Start is Possible on a Push to Start Vehicle
Skip scheduled the installation that day. Also, he arranged to borrow the vehicle from his wife for the appointment. Skip dropped the vehicle off at the store on a Monday morning. On that Monday, Art Dougan performed a high quality MECP Installation. Because of that, this 2019 Tiguan got a reliable, dependable, and safe remote start installation.
Later that Monday, Skip returned to pick up the vehicle with his wife. Doug gave Skip and his wife a complete tutorial on the remote start use and features.
