Patrick of North East had recently purchased a beautiful silver 2020 Sportage. When he purchased the 2020 Kia Sportage, he requested a hitch and 4 pin harness be included with the sale. That’s because, Patrick enjoys pulling a small trailer around his property and helping his friends if they need to move stuff. So, his salesman at the dealership called our Tony Horton. Tony is his contact and works with Kia’s on a very regular basis. After the salesman called, Tony was happy to order the required hitch equipment. Not only that, but Tony also called the customer to schedule an appointment.
The customer Patrick, has never worked with ENORMIS before. But, he has heard a lot of good things from friends and neighbors! When Tony called him to discuss the hitch installation and get him scheduled. Tony also discussed with Patrick the other services that ENORMIS offers. Upon hearing that we install many remote starts on the KIA brand, it really peaked his interest! That’s because, he thought that adding a remote start on his new car would void his vehicle warranty. (It does not) That’s why he didn’t ask for one. Tony assured him our top-notch installation techniques and most advanced remote start hardware would have no effect on his new car warranty. After going over some options and models, Patrick decided on our 1/2 mile two-way remote start system. That was perfect for his needs, and added that to his appointment.
2020 Kia Sportage gets an MECP Installed Hitch and Remote Start
A drop-off appointment was scheduled for the following week. This would give Tony the time to order the hitch from the warehouse. Later, on the appointment day, Patrick used our convenient keydrop. That way, the vehicle was here before we opened. Our MECP Certified technicians Kenny and Art were up to the task! In fact, they had BOTH the hitch and the remote start installed by the early afternoon! The 2″ Hitch and 4-pin wiring connection for lights will be a perfect for Patricks trailer. Not only that, but the long range 2-way remote start will allow him to preheat his vehicle (or precool, in the summertime!) with confirmation on the remote! No guessing if the remote start had started his 2020 Sportage when he is inside a building!
Patrick picked up the vehicle after leaving work and Tony went over the installation, to assure he was comfortable using the remote start. He thought the chirping confirmation from the 2-way remote was awesome! That way he doesn’t have to always look at the lights on the remote. He can just hear it and know it worked!
