John, a NJ resident. Recently bought a 2020 RAM 1500 Limited. The vehicle came loaded with all the options leather, heated seats, and 12 inch touchscreen. The vehicle was supposed to have a power fold mirrors, an option that John had to have for his parking situation. However, John opted for the trailer tow package, which deleted the power fold mirrors! So, John took it upon himself to install the power fold mirrors and the power fold driver master switch. However, after installing the mirrors and the appropriate switch, the power fold option still would not work!
So, John started searching on the internet. As a result, John found ENORMIS Mobile Specialties and saw that we had previously installed the power fold mirrors on the 2020 RAM. John called the store and spoke with Doug Reichert our integration specialist. Doug explained that the truck also needed the correct door modules with the power fold function and that the modules would need to programmed to the 2020 Ram 1500 for functionality. So, John bought the appropriate door modules and went to several different RAM dealers in his NJ area to have them programmed. Simple right? NOPE! None of the RAM dealers could help him!
2020 Ram 1500 makes 6.5hr drive to Erie, Pa
As a result, John made the 6.5hr drive from central NJ to Erie PA for ENORMIS! Why? Because none of the the dealers could help. Later, John and his wife arrived at the store around 9:00 am . Shortly after that, Doug drove them to the local breakfast spot. MECP certified technician Ken Whiteman performed the door module installation. While Ken was busy, our programming guru Mike Macaluso performed the appropriate programming on the truck. After confirming the correct functionality, Ken re-assembled the doors and Doug picked John up from breakfast. John and his wife were back on the road by Noon for the trip back to NJ.
