Bob of Erie, PA had recently purchased this 2020 Telluride. After his purchase, he had expressed his desire to pull a small utility trailer behind it. So, Bob stopped into ENORMIS and was met by Product Specialist Tony Horton and Tony has a lot of experience with the 2020 Telluride Tow Hitch installations and was happy to help!
2020 Telluride Tow Hitch Looks Like it Came From the Factory
Tony is very familiar with the Kia line. Because of that, they discussed where the hitch would be located. Also, they discussed where the 4-pin and 7-pin connections would be installed. In concern, Ron had heard that an opening in the rear bumper would have to be cut, but Tony assured Bob that was not the case and that NO cutting of the rear bumper would be required. In further detail, Tony showed Bob that part of the rear bumper cover was removable. He further explained, a new replacement trim panel would be ordered and the new panel would have the proper opening for the hitch and all wiring connections. The replacement panel would also have the same texture and color of his existing vehicle trim. Of course, Ron was very happy to hear that!
MECP Certified Installation Assures Good Looks and Function
The project was a go. Tony ordered the hitch, harnessing, and that replacement trim panel. After all the parts had arrived, an appointment for Bob was scheduled. Once the Telluride arrived, the installation was turned over to MECP Certified Technician, Ken Whiteman and Ken was able to complete the installation in just a couple short hours. After all, he had all the proper parts and wiring harnesses. Because of the quick install, Bob was able to pick up the vehicle after work and upon pickup, Tony showed him the installation and answered any questions he had. Of course, Ron was impressed with how “factory” the installations looked! Now he will be able to pull his utility trailer around with ease and in style.
