An East Erie Resident just loves her 2017 Jeep Wrangler. She named it “Doby”. Well, someone recently decided that “Doby” needed to be vandalized while sitting in a parking lot. Gail did not appreciate this vandalism to her beloved Jeep Wrangler! So, she decided that this was not going to be a repeated issue and she wanted a camera installed on her Wrangler. Gail e-mailed our Integration Specialist Doug Reichert, about a dash camera installed on the Wrangler that would alert her when the vehicle was potentially being vandalized and would record the vandals in the act. Doug knew of a recently released system that would do exactly what Gail wanted.
Secure 360 Camera System fits the bill
The system is the Secure360 camera system. The Secure360 is an internally mounted 360 degree camera system. It has built in 4G and WI-FI transmission capability. “What does that mean?”, Gail asked? That means the camera on the Wrangler will turn itself on and begin to record either an impact to the vehicle or if the proximity motion sensor is triggered! Once triggered it sends a warning to your cell phone. Once the alert is received, by the registered smart phone or computer, you can watch live! You can see what is occurring in and around your vehicle with 360 degrees of camera angles. Not only can you view it live but, if needed, you can also download the video for evidence. The camera system also features a WI-FI direct connection and an audible ALARM. A siren will sound when the motion or impact sensors are triggered.
Camera gets installed on Wrangler
Gail was on board with the camera system to be installed on the Wrangler right away. After all, she liked the audible alarm siren, the instant notification to her cell phone, and the ability to watch the camera LIVE! She could be far away and know what is going on!
Doug ordered all of the camera parts, and scheduled Gail for the install on a Friday afternoon. MECP certified technician Art Dougan was tasked with this installation. Art wired the camera safely and properly. This wiring installation needed to be precise so that the camera installed on the Wrangler would not drain the battery. The camera knows when it is in normal driving mode and parked mode. Art had the camera installation completed in a little over 3 hours. Doug spent the appropriate amount of time demonstrating the system for Gail. He also helped register and download the APP to her cell phone. Here at ENORMIS, we love that Gail loves the camera system and the safe and secure feeling it has provided her. Contact us for a camera in your car!
