We see it all the time – bad gauge clusters on 2003 through 2007 Chevy and GMC trucks. This particular Chevy truck had problems with the speedometer and gas gauge, and lights that were out. The customer went to a junkyard and spent money on a used cluster to fix this problem – but it did not. We often find that the ones in the salvage or junkyard are defective, too.
Here at ENORMIS Mobile Specialties, we are able to rebuild your Chevy or GMC gauge cluster in-house. We’ve done a lot of them. We remove the cluster assembly and replace the stepper motors on the tachometer, speedometer, gas gauge, oil gauge, battery and temperature gauge. On this vehicle, we also removed and replaced all of the light bulbs. Finally, we re-soldered any suspect connections and problem areas to make sure there are no issues in the future.
We purchased special tools to do this repair properly. The best part of all? We do all of this for a lot less than people expect.
If you your Chevy or GMC gauge cluster needs to be serviced, drop by, give us a call or send an e-mail using our contact page.

I have a 2004 Silverado that needs the instrument panel fixed on. How much would that cost? Thanks!

Mark,
Hello! I will give you some pricing on repair of the 03-07 GMC/Chevy Truck clusters. We will replace all of the motors in the cluster and replace all of the light bulbs and repair/solder all suspect circuits on the board. We have also spent a lot of money on specialized equipment that allows us to work on these GM circuit boards and we pride ourselves in doing very good work. If you bring us the vehicle; We will remove the cluster, repair, test, and reinstall and test again. That is $225+6% PA tax. If someone brings us a cluster we charge $175+ any applicable State Taxes for the repair/reconditioning.
We do guarantee our work on our cluster repairs but we do NOT promise it will solve any and all problems on a particular vehicle. Example; a vehicle could have a bad gas gauge in the fuel tank and the fuel gauge could still read incorrectly.
I hope this answers your question!
