This 2012 Chevy plow truck is used to plow large campus parking lots and safety and visibility is important. Steve stopped in with the truck and showed Mike Macaluso, our operations manager, exactly what he wanted for the truck: warning lights on the rear to warn approaching traffic. Steve also requested high-quality rear lights to see exactly where the salt spreader was sending the salt. No problem – that’s what we do!
ENORMIS installed 2 D-series Pro HD flood lights with stainless steel brackets to see the salt. For safety, we added two Blaster 12 LED Surface Mount Lights in the rear stainless steel dump bed. All wiring is soldered, shrink-wrapped and covered in wire loom.
Finally, the driver requested that the two small amber lights on the front of the dump bed would turn off when the plow is in reverse. They were blinding him when he looked into the mirrors. Art Dougan, one of our MECP-certified technicians, was able to install a circuit into the truck’s existing wiring. Now, when the plow is in reverse, the amber marker lights will turn off and then back on when in drive. How cool is that?
