Earl called about adding heated seats to a Chevy Traverse as a gift to his wife. Tony Horton, our retail consultant, was happy to help him. ENORMIS installed a heating pad on the bottom seat cushion and on the rear – but we weren’t done.
Once Earl got the vehicle from the dealer, there was a problem. The dealer and the vehicle’s window sticker both stated that the vehicle had Bluetooth– but it didn’t. It only had OnStar calling, which requires a separate phone number and subscription to the OnStar calling service.
Earl called ENORMIS and spoke with Doug Reichert, our vehicle integration expert, and asked if ENORMIS could add Bluetooth to his vehicle. The selling dealer wanted to install an aftermarket Bluetooth system that would have been cumbersome to use and required dash-mounted buttons. After some extensive research, Doug found a perfect solution for the client: ENORMIS was able to install the factory Chevy MYLINK Bluetooth. This is not an aftermarket system.
Along with Bluetooth, the Chevy MYLINK system came with navigation, Bluetooth streaming music and text messaging capability. That’s right: You can press the button on the steering wheel, speak a text message and send it, as well as have the text message read to you. That safety and convenience is a winning combination.
