Mark, a Union City resident, wanted to add a remote start and hitch to his new 2018 Ford EcoSport. Ford did not offer any remote start or hitch options for the vehicle, so Mark stopped by the store and spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist.
Mark wanted a long-range remote start that would tell him that the vehicle was running. Doug recommended having us install the Factory Start v5 and get the optional long-range Ataqan two-way remote control upgrade. The Ataqan remote two-way allows Mark to remote start the vehicle from up to half a mile away, and tells Mark that the vehicle started with a nice chime and flashing LED lights.
Mark also wanted a small trailer hitch to haul his utility trailer and he needed a four-pin trailer harness to power the trailer lighting. Ford has no factory solution for adding a trailer hitch to the new model EcoSport, so we added a Curt Manufacturing hitch, built for the EcoSport, and a vehicle-specific LED tail light convertor for the trailer wiring harness.
If you would like the comfort and convenience of a remote start or you need a trailer hitch installed with the appropriate wiring harness, just contact the pros at ENORMIS Mobile Specialties in Harborcreek.
We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.
