He wanted a remote start for his brand-new 2019 Ram 2500 Diesel. John is a Corry, PA, businessman and first-time ENORMIS Mobile Specialties customer. And, This truck is his business vehicle. It has all the features he was looking for except a remote starter. Ram does not offer an accessory remote start. So, you either get a Ram 2500 from the factory with a remote start or you don’t.
2019 Ram 2500 gets a vehicle specific remote start
So, John called ENORMIS from the dealership. Because he wanted to make sure that a high-quality remote start could be added before he purchased the truck. John spoke with ENORMIS’s integration specialist, Doug Reichert. Doug informed John that a high-quality remote start is available for the 2019 Ram. In fact, our Factory Start v5 with its vehicle-specific wiring is available. Vehicle-specific wiring? Yes! Today’s vehicles are complex. And, these vehicle-specific harnesses allow connections that are designed to work directly with specific vehicle models. The 2019 Ram 2500 is a perfect example!
Client gets a few remote start options
John and Doug scheduled an appointment before John left the dealership. John arrived at ENORMIS for the installation appointment. At that point, Doug demonstrated all of the remote combinations that he could choose from. Because of that, John chose the two-way confirming, long-range Ataqan remote controls. This gives him 1/2 mile distance and two-way communication. John will be notified if his truck actually started! (The standard “press three times to lock” is limited in range and does not give any two-way notifications.)
Later that morning, John picked up the Ram. Doug demonstrated all of the remote start features. John can even lock the doors from very far away and the remote will beep and flash a light to confirm his command.
So, If you would like the comfort of a MECP professionally installed remote start system that uses the latest technology and installation methods, just contact the remote start experts at ENORMIS Mobile Specialties.
