Cranesville Client Comes To Enormis For Ford Explorer Remote Starter

A Cranesville, PA, client came to Erie, PA, to do some shopping with the family and get a Ford Explorer remote starter. Initially, Enormis Mobile Specialties was not on their list for a remote start install. It was a travel time issue – Enormis Mobile Specialties is about 40 minutes from Cranesville and about 20 minutes east of Erie, in Harborcreek, PA.

After the 2017 Explorer spent six hours at another shop that was unable to install the remote start, Enormis got the phone call in the late afternoon. Even though we were closing in a few hours, we told her to bring in her vehicle. We were able to install a remote car starter and program the Ford computer by our closing time of 6 p.m.

Thanks to our programming the Ford Explorer computer, the client now can choose settings that are usually only available from the factory. For example, she can set the climate control to “Automatic” and the defroster will automatically direct hot air to the front windshield in cold temperatures.
