An East Erie client from the lakefront town of Lawrence Park, PA, had a door lock problem on his 2015 Toyota Highlander. None of his door locks would work except for one. Not only that, but the rear windshield wiper would not operate. The client went to the Toyota dealership to get an electrical diagnosis of the problem. The dealership “determined” it was a bad module and wanted about $950 to fix the door locks. He wanted a second opinion from Erie’s electrical system experts at ENORMIS Mobile Specialties.
ENORMIS techs disassembled the vehicle interior and actually tested the electrical parts. No guesses here: ENORMIS determined that there were defective parts in the Highlander doors – the problem was not what the dealer determined.
ENORMIS sourced the parts and called the client with permission to continue the repair. The client decided to have ENORMIS fix the Highlander doors. Since we were fixing all of the door locks, the client also asked us to fix the rear windshield wiper as well.
ENORMIS fixed all the electrical problems on the Toyota Highlander including the defective windshield wiper. If you would like the electrical problems fixed on your vehicle, contact us.
