While this client’s son was driving their 2004 Ford F-150, the radio lighting started to flash on and off, the high beam indicator was on, and both turn signals were lighted up on the dash, but not lit up on the outside the vehicle. The Harborcreek resident and first-time ENORMIS customer called and needed this fixed.
Dale called back and said his son made it to where he was going, but now the F-150 would not shift into or out of Park and the vehicle was being towed in. Ken Whiteman, our MECP technician, was up to the task of figuring this one out.
Ken was able to trace the issue to a faulty/corroded connection on the Ford. He removed the bad connection, installed a new connection and placed it higher on the vehicle, away from water infiltration. This new connection restored all functions to the vehicle.
