A Wattsburg, PA, resident and repeat ENORMIS Mobile Specialties client, was out shoveling snow in the driveway. He lost one of his fobs. He called the store, looking for a replacement. He recently had an ENORMIS Ataqan two-way remote start installed on his 2017 Tacoma and thought he might as well call Erie’s Automotive Electrical EXPERTS for help with this as well.
He called and spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist. Doug explained, “We just need to order the Toyota Fob and can have it here in a couple of days.” ENORMIS Mobile Specialties has both the computer technology and the physical machinery to make and program key fobs for many of today’s modern vehicles. The Tacoma Push-to-Start vehicle requires a fob, but this fob also has a metal key in case it’s ever needed. That key is referred to as a high-security key and is called a center-cut or sidewinder key. This design is cut through the middle and not along the edges.
ENORMIS ordered the specific key fob for the 2017 Tacoma and had it within two days. The client brought the Tacoma, his existing Toyota key fob and all of his remote start remotes to the appointment. We had the Tacoma client in and out of the store in about an hour.
