A local Erie resident and long-time ENORMIS client was the happy recipient of a backup camera. His wife Tess had concerns about Frank backing out of the driveway, so she stopped by our store and spoke with sales consultant Tony Horton. Tony discussed the camera options with her. Her husband’s 2017 Ford F150 XL already has a factory 4” color display screen — that’s where we could display an image.
A clean, simple solution was to add an OEM Ford tailgate handle camera. Ford puts the factory camera with the tailgate handle assembly.
Tess liked the idea that everything was going to look factory, so she set up an appointment for the installation. The installation went smoothly thanks to the skills of MECP-certified technician Ken Whiteman! After the physical installation, Ken programmed the camera to the Ford’s computer and … voila! A clean, crisp backup image when the vehicle is in reverse. It also has distance guidelines.
Now Tess does not have to worry as much about Frank backing out of the driveway, and Frank was quite pleased with the results and the clean installation. We thank Frank and Tess for their continued business.
