David, an Erie, PA, resident and first-time ENORMIS Mobile Specialties customer, called to inquire about a remote start for his brand-new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe. The dealership selling the vehicle referred him to ENORMIS. He had a remote start on his prior vehicle but had nothing but issues with it. It would not start the vehicle when it was really cold out, and sometimes it would crank the engine but not start.
Needless to say, David’s prior remote start was not an ENORMIS remote start! He spoke with Doug Reichert, our integration specialist, who explained to him that ENORMIS remote starts are different.
Our remote starts are customized for each vehicle. Our technicians don’t use shortcuts and our systems work in cold winters, even at -20 (many remote starts do not). We do not cut wires, all of our techs are MECP-Certified and we get direct engine readings. We take extreme pride in our products and the quality of our installations.
After hearing this, David’s concerns were calmed, and he booked an installation appointment and dropped his vehicle off on a Friday afternoon. This was a brand-new Hyundai Sante Fe and the installation was assigned to MECP-Certified Art Dougan. Art has been with ENORMIS since 1999; that’s 19.5 years as of this writing.
The remote start installation went well and David picked up his vehicle up after lunch. While in the store, David decided to order some WeatherTech floormats for his brand-new vehicle to protect its carpeting during the winter.
