Important Note!
Due to the popularity of this post, we have been getting a large amount of questions about this truck.
- Our shop has nothing to ship you. The truck needs to be at our shop to perform install. (We can not come to you)
- We can not teach your nephew, mechanic, or local dealer on how to perform this installation and programming.
Please keep in mind that ENORMIS Mobile Specialties is a retail store located in Harborcreek, Pennsylvania. (Near the great lakes) If you are not able to bring your vehicle to our facility in Harborcreek, PA, we will not be able to provide you with service. Thanks for your understanding!
A West Erie resident recently purchased a brand-new 2019 RAM Laramie Edition. Jeff took delivery of the vehicle from the dealership, drove home and … uh-oh. The truck would not fit in his garage because the mirrors would hit the sides of the space! When Jeff tried to push the button for the power folding mirrors, the only problem: There was no button. The mirrors that came on the truck were not power-folding.
Jeff called the dealer and the dealer told Jeff they would add the power mirrors, so Jeff took the truck to the dealer and left it with them. Six weeks went by, and the dealer did, in fact, install the power-fold mirrors and the power-fold switch, but they could not get the power mirrors to work. The dealer said it could not be done. Second opinion, please!
Jeff called ENORMIS Mobile Specialties and spoke with Doug, our integration and product specialist. Jeff made a good decision to call ENORMIS. Doug did the research and said, “Sure, we can add power-folding mirrors as if they came from the factory.” Doug scheduled a time for Jeff to drop off the truck for a few days so we could get the power mirrors working. Two days later, Mike Macaluso and Ken Whiteman had the power mirrors working as designed.
A dealer says it can’t be done? Ha! If you need something done for your vehicle (like power-folding mirrors), and you are near our NW PA shop, contact the Automotive Electrical Experts at ENORMIS Mobile Specialties.

Hi,
Do you sell the power mirror kit for the 2019 Ram 1500 limited?
Truck is fully equipped but lacking this very essential option.
Thanks,
Anthony

Hello. Sorry but we do not have a “power mirror kit for the 2019 Ram 1500”. Of course you mean Power Fold, not just power. The truck needs to be at our location in Northwestern PA for programming. Programming the BCM “on board computer” is the hard part.

Doug, I swapped out my trailer tow mirrors on my 19 Ram Limited. Purchased the kit from Infotainment. The power folds work, but mirror memory and reverse tilt are no longer functioning. Can you fix this for me. Ken.

Ken,
Hello! Would love to help you. But we must have your truck to do so and it looks like you are in New Jersey. ENORMIS is about a 7hr drive from New Jersey. If we have this wrong and you are located within a 1 hr drive or 2 from Erie, PA. Let us know.

I have an ’03 Dodge Ram 1500, and the FM radio has the U.S. radio plan, which means half the frequencies are seemingly non-existant. The local dealer says the radio unit can’t be reprogrammed, however, I have test driven a Chevrolet Avalanche with an identical radio, where the owner had a third party reprogram the head unit for the euro frequency plan. If possible, that would make my DAB+ expansion function perfectly. I’m in Norway, though, so can’t get the truck to you. I may, however, mail the radio to you, or possibly set up a remote programming interface for you guys. I’m not only a gearhead, but also a computer programmer.

I have seen calibrations available for the GM radios for different radio regions. Regardless though, the 03 RAM is not equipped with a radio that can be reprogrammed. 06 and up might be.
