Mike, a North East, PA, resident, wanted to surprise his wife with a remote start for her 2015 Ford F-150. How cool is that?
Mike has come to appreciate the ENORMIS quality and attention to detail. We have installed a remote start in his mother’s Camry and a navigation system in his Volkswagen.
When Mike spoke with our Integration Specialist Doug Reichert about his wife’s F-150, Doug asked Mike about his wife’s remote start needs: “How far away does she need to be able to start it from?” “Is she OK with carrying an extra remote?” “Did Mike have a budget?” After getting the specifics, Doug recommended a Ford F-150 two-way complete factory remote start.
That’s right: We can install a remote start that is the exact same remote start you would get if you ordered it on a fully loaded F-150. Ford dealers do not add this remote start as an accessory. It must come from the assembly line.
MECP-certified technician Art Dougan installed the factory remote start modules and antennas. He also programmed the Ford’s BCM computer to accept the remote start and activated the factory remote start settings, which Mike and his wife can change from the instrument panel display, Our manager, Mike Macaluso, cut and programmed the new Ford keys with remote start and two-way confirmation.
When Mike came to pick up the vehicle, Doug presented his new keys and demonstrated the simple operation of the remote start. Mike even has the instructions for the remote start in his original owner’s manual. A complete factory installation from start to finish.
