Beep, beep, beep, beep. Annoying, isn’t it? That’s what was happening on this 2008 F-150 for this Erie, PA, client. It actually happens on many 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 F-150s.
An airbag warning light had failed to illuminate in the gauge cluster during vehicle startup. The Ford computer thought that someone had tampered with these specialized electrical circuits and was sounding an alarm in response. As if that weren’t enough, a brake light warning was illuminating in the dash for no good reason. The brake system in the truck was fine.
Enormis found some electrical gremlins. Between human brains and our Ford diagnostic computer, Enormis was able to repair this F-150 instrument cluster properly. Now, everything works the way it should.
