Ford Mobility Van Lighting Adds Safety for Harborcreek Client

Need more visibility for your fleet of vehicles? Safety is very important to an Erie, PA-based independent living provider. They have a mobility van to transport their clients to and from shopping, social events and doctor’s appointments.

The van makes frequent stops; adding emergency lighting will make other drivers aware of it when it is being used to load and unload clients. Since the van was equipped with a wheelchair lift in the rear of the vehicle, it was important for it to be even more visible when the rear double doors were open to load and unload a wheelchair.

We installed four LED Blaster 120 surface mount lights to the interior of the rear doors that will turn on only when the rear doors are opened. We also installed LED lights on the front grille, two lights in the rear taillight housings and two more on the rear sides of the van. There will be no missing this van when it is transporting clients.
