Millcreek Client Adds Factory Fog Light System to Subaru Ascent

No fog lights on your new car? You want it to look right. You don’t want some obvious switch inside. If the factory fog light indicator can come on in the dash, that would be a bonus.

A first-time ENORMIS client from West Millcreek stopped
in to ask if we could assist in helping him install a factory fog light kit he purchased for his brand-new 2019 Subaru Ascent. The client’s son was able to install the LED light assemblies on the exterior, but did not feel comfortable with doing the interior electrical job.

Here’s where it gets interesting. The fog light kit did not come with any instructions and Subaru had not published the instructions yet. Our MECP-certified technician Art Dougan was able to find the proper location for the switch. Art also found the Subaru harness and the location of the relay point that had to be added to provide power to the fog lights.
