Robert of Edinboro is a sales consultant for a local car dealership who wants to do some traveling with his family in his 2016 Toyota Highlander.
With several kids, having entertainment on those long drives makes it so much nicer. So, he began inquiring about overhead video entertainment for his family. In doing so, he called product specialist Tony Horton. Tony asked him to stop by with the Highlander to discuss his options. Also, Tony wanted to check how much space there was to work with.
With the vehicle having a sunroof and a two-tier headliner, the area between those two was perfect for a 10.2” overhead mobile video DVD system. Two sets of headphones are standard, but Robert needed more. That’s because, he will have four rear seat passengers, so he needed two more headphones. No problem.
Overhead Video gets an MECP Installation
Robert dropped off the Toyota for the day. We turned it over to the skilled hands of Art Dougan, one of our MECP-certified technicians. In half a day, Art was able to mount the overhead system securely and center it perfectly in the headliner. Art also ran the audio output from the video system up front to the factory Toyota radio AUX input. The kids can hear a movie clearly throughout the vehicle speakers, and if Mom and Dad want to listen to music or talk radio at the same time, the kids can listen with the headphones. Lots of options are available.
Robert and his family are now ready for those summer vacation plans!
