Remote starter installations are a big part of our business. Since 1999, we have been known as the remote start experts in Erie, Pennsylvania. Why? We are primarily electronics specialists. We are not a car stereo store. So, we specialize on the complexity of a car’s electrical system and not the sound system. ENORMIS has become legendary for our expertise on electrical systems. Our operations manager is an electrical engineer. In fact, he has previously worked directly with remote start engineers. This was to help improve remote start product design. Additionally, the installation technicians at ENORMIS are all MECP-certified. (MECP stands for Mobile Electronics Certified Professional). This certification is not required by any local, state or federal agencies. But, ENORMIS requires certified technicians.

Higher Standard for Remote Start Installation
We have high standards. So, our work will not automatically void your new vehicle warranty. We never cut wires unless it is absolutely necessary. We will use Vehicle Specific wiring harnesses whenever possible. If a vehicle specific wire harness is not possible, we will use OE connectors, 3M connectors and/or solder for our connections. We stand behind our installation for as long as you own your vehicle. Your car is going to spend time “in surgery,” so to speak. So, we take this very seriously.
For many shops, a remote starter has become a game of selling them as cheaply as possible. Well, that requires cutting corners. This flies in the face of everything Enormis Mobile Specialties stands for. So, it will not happen here.
Vehicle Specific Remote Starters for today’s vehicles
Our company will take the time to get to know you and your vehicle. That way, we can offer you the best system for your unique needs. We will install a remote start that fits your needs and your particular vehicle. We will also perform an installation designed to give you years of reliable service.
Hood safety switches are built into all of our installations. (Many shops neglect this.) Taking shortcuts on safety features is just not worth it.
Our products use the latest processors. These are designed to communicate directly with your factory computer in its own native language. As an example, let’s say you own a push to start 2019 Acura ILX. We flash our data modules with Acura specific software. That software is completely different from what we use for a 2019 Chevy Silverado. Few shops do this.
Reliable Installation Methods
Some shops still use universal remote starts that we stopped using years ago. Many push to start, low current vehicles do not work well with older remote start technology. The reality is that such a system will not be as reliable. Also, the vehicle not be as easy to service in the future. We promise to never cut corners. Our clients want it done right the first time.
Also, when your vehicle is in our install bay, it will be connected to a battery maintainer to keep it fully charged. We own dealer-level computers that allow us to diagnose, read and change settings in your vehicle. So, we can communicate with your vehicle computer if needed.
It is just one more way we have your back.
