The local Buick dealership was in a bind. What happened was, Mark had sold a 2019 Buick Encore and thought that it had a factory remote start button on the key fob. But, there was no remote start button on the Encore remote and the deal was already done. So, Mark called our product specialist Tony Horton about installing a Buick Encore remote start. Oh, and by the way, he was delivering the Buick Encore later that afternoon! So, Tony talked to the ENORMIS Operations Manager and made room for the installation to happen. The Buick Encore Remote Start took priority.
This Encore Remote Start is not a “Universal” System
Our MECP-certified technician Chris Brown professionally installed the ENORMIS Factory Start v5. This remote start system is NOT universal. This remote start for the Buick Encore is specifically designed to work the Buick’s electrical wiring and computers. Now, the driver can simply press the lock button three times. Doing this, will cause the Buick engine to start up and warm or cool the interior. Also, there are no aftermarket fobs or remotes to deal with. However, the remote start range is limited by the Buick remote. It may only start the car from about 100ft away at most. But, the Buick owner can extend the remote start range in the future. ENORMIS can solve the range issue with a smartphone app or extended range remotes.
