Repeat East Erie Client Adds Remote Start to 2017 Toyota Tacoma

Judy, an East Erie resident and repeat ENORMIS Mobile Specialties client, brought us her 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Judy has had four ENORMIS remote starts installed on her vehicles over the years. When Judy was purchasing a new Tacoma, she called and spoke with ENORMIS Product Specialist Doug Reichert. She wanted to remove the remote start from her 2001 Ford Ranger and install it in the 2017 Tacoma. Doug explained that the remote start technology has advanced tremendously in 16 years and that the remote start from 2001 would not work well with the 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Not only has the technology advanced, but finding replacement parts for the 2001 remote start would be very hard.

Instead, Doug recommended that she go with a new remote start system that would use Toyota-specific wiring harnesses and have remotes that would be comparable to what she had before. Judy agreed that a new truck should get a new remote start and was able to
negotiate the price of the remote start into the purchase of the vehicle. Wise decision, Judy!
