Do you own a vehicle that doesn’t need a key to start? Do you simply hop into your vehicle, push a button, hear your engine come to life, and then drive away? If so, Enormis Mobile Specialties has good news for you: We can remote start your vehicle. One of the common questions we hear is about these “push to start” vehicles. Many people think they can’t get a remote starter since this kind of vehicle doesn’t use a key, but Enormis has been properly installing systems on these types of vehicles since 2005, so to say we have a lot of experience with them would be right on point.
You Can Trust the Technicians at Enormis With Your Push-To-Start Vehicle
To be clear, we are not saying anyone can remote start your vehicle. It does require a technician with intimate knowledge of how these push-to-start vehicles operate. You have come to the right place, because our team has more than three decades of experience installing starters, and our operations manager is an electrical engineer. Not only do they not intimidate us, but we embrace this technology, and understand it completely. Let’s take a quick look into Enormis:
The Start Button Communicates With Your Car’s Computer
Let’s explore how your vehicle starts and how the team at Enormis Mobile Specialties works with these vehicles. When you get into your vehicle and push the button on the dash or console, asking it to start, you aren’t sending electricity to your starter, as in years gone by. Did you ever notice that you don’t need to hold the button in until the engine starts, but just need to push it for a second? That’s because your engine is being completely controlled by its factory computer. When you push that button, you are sending a digital command to your computer that says “Start my engine.” The computer fires up the ignition and then cranks the starter for the perfect amount of time until the engine starts.
Enormis Can “Talk” to Your Car’s Computer
What if someone could install a remote starter in your vehicle that could communicate directly with the factory computer in its native language, asking it to start? Well, there is someone: Enormis. Our team will install a system in your vehicle that gets loaded with software that can communicate directly with your computer. Your vehicle doesn’t know the difference between you sitting in the vehicle and pushing the button versus you sitting on the sofa and tapping the remote control on your starter. To make things even better, remember that your computer is now doing the work, so all of the factory safety items are still intact and in perfect working order.
Enormis Has the System That’s Just Right for Your Needs
Now that you know your push-to-start vehicle can be safely remote started, you need to pick the best solution for your needs. Enormis has many different models of systems, so we are sure to have one that will work best for your unique needs. Whether you just want something basic, you need longer range or want a two-way system that communicates back to the remote once the engine starts, we have you covered. Are you the kind of person who likes to harness the power of your smartphone? We have systems that allow you to control your starter from your smartphone, so you don’t have to carry an extra fob with you.
We invite you to stop by Enormis Mobile Specialties with your vehicle. Let’s get to know each other better. Our team of specialists will take all the time needed to make sure you get the system that will work best for your needs.
